My Coding Place: Coding Club

Kinder-5th grade $525/student 3:15 - 4:15pm
January 21 - May 6 (15 weeks) Join us for Coding Club at your school! Coding Club is not just about coding but it will cover broader topics like typing, Internet safety, and technology literacy. We will learn these topics through fun games or videos or coding projects. Students will be grouped by age and will learn age-appropriate content. Older students may be introduced to the binary system and younger students will be introduced to mouse skills. Coding Club will introduce students to Scratch, a drag and drop block coding platform and community that will allow them to create games, stories, and animations. K-1st graders will learn to use Scratch Jr for pre-readers. |
Austin DIY Studio: Arts and Crafts

Mica May, a local Bryker Woods neighborhood mom and Bryker Woods Elementary Alumni is brining her DIY Studio magic onto the Bryker campus! This after school class is designed for elementary age kids, kinder through 5th grade to get crafty and complete one DIY project each week. We will do a variety of materials and techniques, from pour paint to macramé. Our goal is to teach kids that they can create beautiful things, even when things seem difficult to make! We breakdown each project so the tasks are simple for all age levels but the results are beautiful and something your student would be proud to hang in their rooms, or even better, the main house! The Drama Spot

Dates: 3/4, 3/11, 3/25; 4/1, 4/8, 4/15, 4/22, 4/29; 5/6, 5/13, 5/20, 5/27 The Drama Spot offers joyful, low-pressure drama classes without the stress of a final performance or production—making it accessible to students of all personality types. Through theatre games, movement, and imaginative play, we use theatre as a tool to cultivate core life skills like resilience, public speaking, and critical thinking. Each month focuses on one of our 12 Core Skills, giving students time to explore, grow, and try new things at their own pace. Spanish Club

Spanish Club is an interactive and engaging after-school program where students learn Spanish through games, songs, storytelling, and hands-on cultural activities. Each week introduces new vocabulary and conversational phrases in a fun, immersive environment designed to build confidence and curiosity for the Spanish language. Austin Youth Fitness: Running Club

Session 1: Jan 21 - Feb 25 Session 2: March 25 - April 29 AYF Running Clubs focus on proper running form, pacing, endurance, running drills, functional fitness, and making fitness fun!
